Art on the other hand is better for team fights with her cripple traps and the stun from her boar.
Well almost all ADCs run Transcendence these days, eliminating mana issues. But its like I said, Art and Neith fill different roles. Neith is better 1v1 and at lane clear, Art is more use in a team fight.
Artemis could be one of the best hunters if she had an escape, but thats not the case. Her steroid is very strong late game and early she can deal massive dmg / confirm a kill from a pretty far distance with her rain of arrows. She can be rly strong in casual / ranked low level, but higher she will have to stay under her tower during the lane phase cuz no escape.
Tho i prefere arthemis, i find her gameplay far more fun and that AS is insane, but it is sad to admit the lack of escape is a big problem for her vs good players that knows what they are doing. Also the Neith's mark is RLY strong once you know how to use it : )
The thing to understand is Smite, even if less now, can snowball rly hard. You need almost a hero that is a jack of all trades, thats the reason you wont see arthemis high lvl. Some do way better at every phase of the game (yes Rama, i am talking to you) and have an escape ^^ In this game almost every hero have in a way or another a CC, so an escape is a very big bonus.
Says Artemis has more stun abilities: Artemis stuns: 1 Neith stuns: 1
Artemis has the crit passive matched with an attack speed buff ability. This pretty much means that late game all artemis has to do is run at neith with her 2 active and shot her 2 maaaaybe 3 times. Perhaps if the neith could use they're lifesteal effectively along with the root. Typically neith is used to get an early game advantage as she's a god that is great for set up. Late game neith becomes much less viable and will typically get destroyed by pretty much any archer if they are the same or slightly higher level as. Also what BloodravenD said about laying down the trap after the ult is good advice that I typically dont see many people do but it helps a lot.
i have played smite before it came on steam, i didn't notice neith had a stun skill, is it the 1?
anyway, im pretty sur i saw artemis having 2 stun abilities, the trap that makes them stuck and the ult
Neiths ult is a stun. I'd say its about equal CC, neiths root can hit multiple people and her stun only one, Artemis' root can hit only one person but her ult can stun everyone in a team fight.
