Guan Yu isnt a god
He was a human being and a general during the war of the 3 kingdoms.......
Whens Lu Bu gonna be added? Or Cao Cao. Lets Dynasty Warrior's it up in here.

Um you may be ignorant of the subject, But Guan-Yu is a Chinese War God, note keyword is "God" here's the link to read some of his myth if u like

I don't know anything about mythology hardly, but I do know that many of the "gods" in Smite are in fact deities or highly revered champions/demi-gods of some sort. I think it'd be inefficient for them to have a "Gods" tab and a "Deities" tab.

Each God has lore ingame you can read about each one if you have any doubts. Also Smite has a lot of Deities as well.

bah they better add the christian God and angels before they worry with this minor stuff. btw they said they will not add christan stuff they dont want issues :( im christan and it would be awsome to have my op God in this game :)

Use Q to flood the map and kill all enemy gods instantly
dies and resurects plus saves all friendly gods from death.

come on my religion is perfict for this game!

Guan Yu was a general in the Han dynasty, and later on was deified. Still worshipped in some places too.

Ymir is a "primeval being born of elemental poison and the ancestor of all jötnar". Ratatoskr is a squirrel that runs messages up and down a giant tree between an eagle and a wyrm. Scylla is a monster. Ravana is a ten-headed king (where his other heads are I do not know) and is a follower of a god named Shiva. Medusa is a monster.

They add some that aren't gods because it's fun. Medusa is a pretty awesome hunter. Ymir is practically the face of Smite along with Neith and Thor. There's no reason to not add them, and it doesn't really matter if they refer to them as gods or not because in the end this is a game, not an educational program on PBS.

Guan Yu is worshiped as the god who protect Shops and Hotles.
Most chinese gods was human being when they were alive.

I don't know, they have no problem putting these characters on TV but not SMITE.
