A question about Ao Kuang.

I started playing Ao Kaung recently. And I have a question about his ultimate.
When I use his ultimate sometimes , The target has the indicator that it's below Health Threshold , The Target is knocked up in the air , while my character transforms into a dragon , however the target doesn't die ................ I check if the target has purification beads or Bulwark but they don't have it and never used it. In addition while in the air I can't land , I just stay there in the air watching until the ultimate duration ends and it auto lands to the location that my cursor is pointing to.
Is this how the character works , or is it a bug.
Note : I am using Dragon Knight Ao Kuang skin if it's all related.

do they use a skill to purify it/go immune? is it a kali ult? is it a kumbhakarna passive? otherwise its a bug.

certain things, like Khumba's Passive, will allow you to still get your dragon form, but not count as a kill. Beads doesn't prevent damage, just removes crowd control, maybe they used Aegis? only time I've ever not gobbled the person was a khumba, so not sure who you were trying. Also you can click to drop from your ult instead of letting it run out.

Sadly It was a thanatos once and a posideon , and once an Ares they had no Aegis Bulwark nor an item that could save them.

when they are immune to execution(ao kuang ult) they will glow.. either way if they glow full white(not ra's emanate)-- dont ult em.. but immunity wont allow u to see dragon form. its a bug i thnk. maybe it has something to do with bad ping or latency.

Yeah, if you decide against using your ult (they beads out of it) and don't want to be stuck in the full animation, just right-click (M2) to cancel and drop back out.
