What do Ward Skins do?

I unlocked an Odyssey chest and just got a Ward skin, and I'm wondering what it does

It changes how wards look when you place them on the map in a game. Just a fun little cosmetic change.

In Conquest it should be a must to buy wards for everyone. Map control is a big thing.

Wait hold on what, you don't buy wards? Listen, there are millions of wards that remain unsold and as a result of that many players get ganked and then rage and blame their teammates.
It is op, it is like a maphack but you can't get banned for it!

Buy a ward, prevent a gank, save a life!

Preferably with this cool ward skin that will have everyone admiring it. Now only for 10$ instead of 5$!
