1.deaths toll in conquest, no starter for arena
2.Warrior tabi (not ninja) , no ASI.
3.Actives will be situational depending on enemy team comp.
4. 2>4>3>1 would be priority I'd say, also have to turn on auto level abilities before the match starts.
5. There is only 1 custom, I'd say put everything you're going to use both arena and conquest and turn off auto buy and you can pick the items you need.
2) Asi is NEVER a good starter item...it's an awesome support item but later on.Reason: Doing no damage fast is still NO damage and no damage also means you will get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lifesteal.1-3 Hp lifesteal is useless. So not worth it
3)Tier 1 med is always nice early game and second active depends on what comp y'r facing
4&5) No idea,dont use it
Rlly,if y'r new and planning 2 try that build,expect to die....a lot
Med is only for assault really, in conquest he is going to want teleport and a utility like shell or a curse or beads depending on the cc of the enemy team.
Yeah I understand that but,,,,, people that aren't new will most likely talk bad to him especially if he has a really toxic player on his team, could make it a worse gaming experience.
Theorycrafting is a job best left for those who devote a lot of time to it. I recommend you follow Krett's videos on YouTube/Twitch.
I wanna use builds from Smitefire.
The arena build I linked was just an EXAMPLE, in order to discuss the god builder feature. I will use Smitefire for Conquest.
The real problem with following Hi-Rez's recommended builds or any guide from SmiteFire, etc. is that no game plays out the same way.
The build you use if the other team is very tanky (lots of health and protections) is quite different from the one used when you fall behind early and the other team isn't letting up.
A lot of games are lost because of formulaic builds and players not fully understanding items.
Riddle me this...what beats protections? If your first thought was, "Easy! More power!" you should not be tinkering with builds too much.
With my low level, I just need a good all arounder build.
By the way I hate the fact there is only 1 custom build available. If u play solo or jungle with the same god, you are done.
Compared to Lol there are so many missing tools for competitive play:
* Builds provided by the community. Smitefire is the only site and is incredibly poor.
* God win rate for each rank (bronze, silver, gold, etc.) Stats matter.
* The possibility to save several builds.
IMO, Smite is playable for casual only, unfortunately.
As a seasoned Smite player, I never look at any guides or follow the "recommended" builds. I know what every item does and what counters what. It just takes time to learn this stuff.
I get in game, purchase my initial items, and depending on how the game goes, build accordingly. Put you LoL experience to the side - it will not help you here, at all. I am a "silver noob" because I jumped into ranked far too early, but am now delving into theorycrafting and have watched my play quality increase dramatically. Adaptive building is a learnable trait.
SmiteFire is not the only site...SmiteTier and SmiteGuru are good resrouces with far better information than SmiteFire.
Also, this is silly. It only seems this way because you are used to another game and haven't devoted enough time to this game. The Ranked/Competitive scene is quite good.
