Step 2) Collect free gems on each account.
Step 3) After three months buy all the 600 gem skins
Step 4) Two weeks later trade them all to your main.
Make it require level 30 before you can trade then
Even then I have 3 level 30 accounts, which would triple the rate at which I gain content.
Hacking an account and keeping it is hard so there is little incentive. If accounts had value that can then be dumped elsewhere the fact that hacking only grants temporary control is less of an issue.
Doesn't matter, you get that every two weeks for free.
Level 30 is pretty easy to get to so that wouldn't change anything
and im sure you will say that you can just buy some of the skins that cost favor to trade for gems, so what if you could only trade gem skins for other gem skins, and maybe increase the trade cost op suggested to make up for any difference in the gem cost
Still buy 250 gem skins on main, trade them for 600gem skins. Also increased ability to buy a bunch of skins when they are on sale rather than having to pick and choose.
Even then Smite doesn't have much in the way of random drops, you either buy small chests or you are getting very random things for free as part of promotions so the need to trade isn't huge.
trading a 250 skin for a 600 skin would cost: 100 (base cost) + 350 (600-250)
but yeah i guess there wouldnt be many situations that you would need to trade now that you mention it, just sounded like a cool idea to me, but probably more trouble than its worth
