well early game premades have a hard time findng other premades of the low level, once you put like 20 hours in the only time you see premades is if youre in one yourself or if youre on a huge winning streak
4 wins and 15 losses and in most games that weren't complete stomp fests, my kda was above 2 (i.e. 14 out of 19 games) if not higher.
I mean I'm still starting out with smite so it's understandable that I'd be losing the first games but, the differences in teams have been overwhelming.
E.g. during my last game, first time playing arena against people.
The enemy team went to finish off jungle creeps in unison while my team stood around the spawn only to engage in a slow 1 by 1 feeding strategy.
While the enemy team just kited most of my team to oblivion my team did what every newbie would do, over extend and die or go against greater odds alone (actual newcomers against 'experienced' players).
Mostly I've played conquest or siege and similar things happen there.
My team does newbie things while the enemy team seems to be fully aware of what's going on.
Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying I'm even close the photon that bounced off of the glorious sheen of an average player but, I just don't understand how and why the enemy teams are constantly significantly more experienced than mine.
IF the matchmaking was random then I would have around 50% win rate at the least yet it's around ~20% now so it's more like the mm is fully conscious and conspiring against me.
Btw, the winrate, the number, isn't important to me but, what the number represents.
Btw2, do suggest wth I should do. Pick only from the "op" god pool? Never buy boots? Buy more wards? Feed to get balanced games? I really don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Do Joust. Do Joust till you find a hero you like. This is what i have done.
Now i main Aphrodite, Bellona, Sol, and Cabakrakan. It's good to continually play a hero you enjoy, once you feel you have 'mastered' it, and you can then go onto Siege.
DONT EVER GO INTO CONQUEST AND TAKE THOSE INSULTS FROM THOSE MOTHERF*CKERS. THEY ARE BUNCH OF POS AND HALF OF THEM DONT FOLLOW SIMPLE PRODURES AND AUTOLOCK CAUSE THEY ARE A BUNCH OF ...
Seriously. Don't think Conquest is for the 'elite' You know what elite? Losing a Joust and coming back after 50min of back and forth (Same for Siege). Conquest is a cess pool. I only started doing Ranked Conquest because now im good, and know what my heros role is, or my role they want me to play (because f*ck you autolocker).
What is your "level"?
I personally would only swap between Siege and Joust - not only are the way more fun than a 45min "YOU SUCK QUIT LIFE ♥♥♥♥♥♥" fight with some idiot on Conquest. Siege and Joust IMO have the healthy playerbase of Smite.
Also, it does not hurt at all to add someone who was kind to you, or even did really well. Always ask for help if you don't know what buiuld to do, what lane, who to play etc. Most people will want to help oyu.
But like i said, ignore the idiots of Smite. They are the minority, and they speak the loudest.
Well my thought on poor matchmaking....it is a business practice...people will spend more time on Smite servers, which is a benefit in multiple ways. The more time you spend playing, the more likely you will invest in certain items, not including how much they rack on player-on-server time. There are ways to improve matchmaking dramatically, yet those steps are ignored for obvious reasons to few.
Still not a horrible game, fun sometimes.
Its funny the other moba I play I have around a 50 percent win rate on average if you add up all maps in casual match making. It varies from 44 to 58 percent but it averages out to around 50 percent of the games. Maybe its too much to ask for with the player base here but how is it that that game gets it as close to even and this game will literally hand you mismatches for days.
Its honestly not about if I get the W or not and more about what kind of game it is. Stomps are common in smite especially in conquest. Like others have said avoid conquest play joust or siege the lower number teams make what you do matter more which helps a bit.
Dude, i can absolutely feel and agree to your pain!
First of all my ign is "Yodenko" and i'm playing this game for almost 3 years now. I'm in Plat V in league and i think i'm a pretty decent player. But matchmaking is so terrible atm. I mostly queue with a friend who plays support (i'm adc). We usually win our lane. But recently it changed in the was that we get pushed out in our lane frequently. It just feels like playing against a whole different skill lvl. And yes, we manage to defend if we rly want to. But if our mid laner died 5 times in 3 minutes, thats just rly depressing. I dont want to blame anyone i just think that players are unfairly matched. And what u are describing is exactly that what i'm witnessing. I/we almost get rather unexperienced players in team with not a single league match played, while there are diamond players in the other team. And this over and over again. So my honest advice ist not to queue Conquest atm or even queue at all and wait for season 3. It seems like hirez is done with this season. Over all they are doing a great job but i just dont like to play smite atm. Sure there are lucky guys out there who are queued in the "winner" team. Sure they write stuff like "your just bad" and this even gets u more depressed.
no
Last night was a 6 loss streak before i said f*** this and quit playing for the night. I dont even play conquest anymore because im tired of playing with the autolocks, the flamers, the trolls, the people who dont communicate at all, the kids who just drool on the screen instead of playing and the MLG PRO scrub who goes 1-16 but wants to tell you how bad you are at the game and how its your fault he died and fed the other team a win. I love Smite i do. Ive had a blast with this game but lately its getting harder and harder to want to play it with it this constant influx of crap and being forced to play people far out of my skill level. Hope your experience changes man.
