I remember Arachne generally struggling and being hard to play. She can stomp lower-level players well enough, but she isn't the only who can do that.
Real power is in the players who know what they're doing.
Anyway, my advice is play Arachne yourself. You'll either push her winrate into the roof, forcing a nerf, or you'll get to the stage where you aren't constantly winning and can learn why (see how people play around you).
Her ult is way worse than Rata or Thana, since it is 'slower'. Thana has a stun / execute, both which are great for engaging. Arachne has a slow. Better than nothing! (And it used to be nothing, lol).
Using Thana ult to run away means you positioned badly. Same for Rata.
Arachne ult is just better off being used as mobility since it is easier to use for that than the webs (and it isn't that high impact in the first place).
The stun requires you to get hit multiple times, so position better, try using your abilities. The fact you didn't mention her heal makes me doubt your qualifications to call for a rework.
Anyway, yeah, try playing her. You can rent a god for a small amount of favour.
-Laughs in Ares-
Oh they're rushing base, well allow me to blink relic and 4.
-Haha yeah boi meme-
But Ares ult is easily bead countered because of the long animation. Arachne ult was pretty much instant.
TRUE unless you know how to cooldown build with relic dagger and get 5 man ult off. I have that achievement. You have to counter the counter. Nevertheless yes it is easily beaded out of if done right.
I think their issue with her ult is not just what she can do, but at how quickly it can be activated. Pinning her down is frustrating when her ult is ready. At the same time, I feel there are several other gods that are far more slippery than she is.
You just have to wait for the right time / moment to go in with Ah Puch. Wait until your tank and warriors go in and then creep forward and combo the enemies. Don't go in first and get CC trained. You have to learn when to engage to avoid being combo'd to death or caught out.
