Is the tutorial mandatory?
If I can't skip the tutorial I think uninstalling is the next step. Anyone know how to avoid that terrible molasses paced tutorial?

so far just going afk is more effective than actually playing through the tutorial.

If you can't sacrifice 5 minutes of your time then I'm sorry

I can confirm that going afk for tutorial and watching netflix works!

5 minutes would be easy but I played the tutorial for 30 minutes and got no where the less I tried the sooner it was over. It's an interesting way to program a game to say the least.

You must just be garbage if it is taking 30 minutes... like srsly, my joust matches last twice as long then your tut.

yes I am garbage. That is a fact I cannot argue.

no wonder i see people go like 0-18, they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about learning the damn game

If you cant complete a tutorial that tells you what to do to complete it, then why even try playing the game.

I just don't learn the way the tutorial teaches the game once I got through that portion my friends gave a rundown and showed me the things I needed to know. I just wanted to skip it cause I was bored the whole time doing the tutorial. The game is simple and it's rated 13+ so holding my hand through 4 matches is a bit much for my personal taste, maybe if I was afflicted with a head wound and just came out of a coma the tutorial would be more helpful.
Exit the tutorial.

You should be going through the game's tutorial. First off, the game is not "simple." It's evident you're either a troll or have no comprehension of the level of strategy this game can have. The 13+ rating also has nothing to do with anything. Some of the most challenging puzzle games and platformers in existence are rated "E" or "T."

Secondly, don't listen to a damn thing your friends say. All the information they give you will be outdated in two weeks with the start of Season 3 and the Burst Damage Meta. Reading your posts, I'm sure you associate with other scrubs and mouthbreathers who don't get this game at all.

Lastly, uninstall Smite. New players who have no interest in progressively learning the intricacies of the game will kill the community. Your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ builds and horrible play should not be a part of this community.

Well, hopefully that works for you, but no, the tutorial is not skippable because Smite is different enough from both FPS and MOBA games that you still really need to be introduced to how the game works. It's your decision to just AFK the tutorial, but it really isn't that hard and will go a lot more quickly if you actually play it. If your friends showing you what to do works better for you, maybe have them show you through the tutorial, but often there are a lot of things friends just forget to mention, so skipping the tutorial is not recommended as there are a lot of things that you will miss, which will be detrimental not just to you, but to the rest of the players in your game. Be a good teammate and take some time to learn what you're doing.

That said, ignore the hate, it doesn't represent the total of this community. After all, a regular player still has a chance to learn and grow in learning to play the game and if you end up buying gems for cosmetics, it all helps the game we love. I hope you like the game and can get lots of practice playing with your friends, and I highly recommend trying some Co-op games to get used to all the new stuff going on. Definitely take a lot of time learning about the game and how it works before you try play PvP Conquest on your own. GLHF
