Haven't played joust much at all ( 11 matches ) but it seemed like for me personally apollo was very good ( in terms of win rate, i don't actually like playing him that much ), and from what i've seen he's more or less a top pick.

He was asking why ban though. THere is no real reason to ban him because he can be countered like that. Or by pretty much any assassin-type character (thins includes gods like Ao Kuang with good burst/mobility). A Hunter with their full build can take him out in pretty much 3 shots consistently because of his low health.
