How often do people actually report trolls on enemy team?

I have to ask, how often do people actually report? Specifically if its someone on the enemy team.

When I have troll on my team, either a inter, or someone who didn't play assigned role, and get to the after match lobby, I see the number go from 10 to 6 or lower almost instantly. Before I even have a time to type "report XXXX, they didn't play assigned role." most of the people are gone. People certainly aren't reporting, and even if they are, they aren't sitting there long enough to type out a message outlying the issue which is more effective than just a category report, I believe.

I understand a lot of people are questionable about how effective reporting actually is, but how are people supposed to be punished if they never get reported?

Granted, I get not reporting for claims of harassment, because the team wasn't there to see the harassment, so its just based on the accusers word, and chances are they were BMing just as bad if not worse. But with intentional feeding, afking, or not playing assigned role there should be obvious indicators.

I just get the feeling that when it comes to reports, when people win they don't care if its due to trolling being done on the enemy team, they just move on to the next match. And others just move on because they don't see the point in reporting because they don't think it does anything.

While smite does auto flag intentional feeders and leavers, which is great, though I find the intentional feeder tends to flag people who are just simply having a bad game and aren't inting, I feel more should be done to encourage people to report. Say, locking people into the end match lobby for a period of time, maybe with a pop up of "Was there anyone who needed to be reported in this match?" similar to how the commendation screen locks you in before you can get to the after match screen.

tl ; dr - How often do you report trolls on the enemy team? Do you care or do you just move on because eh, you won?

Some people forget, or just want to get on with another game, or close the game entirely.

Other people don't necessarily notice, or assume it isn't trolling depending on how bad it was. Some just might not care.

I sometimes forget the do Commendations every now and then for the same reason. Just mindlessly click the button at carry on.

For reporting people, it has to be obvious to me. If it's on my team it's usually more noticeable, since I can also see my teams chat.
If it's an enemy that is trolling, it's sometimes harder to tell, especially if they are playing a role I won't see for most of the game (solo vs ADC for instance).

Locking people into the lobby wouldn't be a good idea. Especially if there is no one to report. You just end up missing queues and annoying people. At that point, they might either not report at all, or report out of spite rather than because they deserve it.

every game almost, always one of these in my games ..feeder .. no laners who think they can be 3 up in mid .. afk's .. disconnectors who reconnect later, these things need to be looked at or fix the report system reporting is pointless if people can rejoin near endgame and have no punishment.

I generally don't report because I've been in a situation where someone wanted to report me for not playing the character I was using correctly. I had no idea how to play properly as I'm relatively new and the guy waits to tell people to report me right before we lose. Sometimes trolls could just be people like me that are garbage at the game lol. Though I do try and report obvious trolls and the like.

Most of us can distinguish the noobs from the trolls dont worry.
