Queue Times + No Selections

Just came back to SMITE, Queue times seem to be a little long 5+ minutes for an Arena up to 15 minutes. Then about 1/3 the time someone does not make a selection and you get to start all over.
Is Arena game mode dead?

Arena is not dead, though queues do seem to be longer then last season. I never see 5 minutes regardless of the time of day. But more than a minute is becoming the norm. I think they made a change not too long ago where if the lobby gets sent back to the main menu, you have to requeue manually. Instead of it putting you in a new one, which I preferred. It also seems like more people are crashing these days too. I know we just had an update that added the new god and changed some things. But I would have expected it to calm down a bit by now.

i play on pc and console. Console queues for arena/assault/slash are damn near instant while pc queues take forever.

according to TOS they can ban for using the in game emotes too much.. or if you ask someone their gender xd

Weird.. typical queue times for arena for me solo and as a duo in the NA evening is 1-1:30 minutes at most.

Thats queuing for the NA west servers, also do alot of Assault and the queue for that tends to be a minute, although ive sometimes hit 2 minutes.

So not sure why you'd have 5 minute ques for Arena other than the region your queuing for.

After 2AM the queues become longer but you can switch region where the timezone is more populated...

Since writing this post I have experienced at least four 15 minute + queue times for NA West Arena. Only seems to be getting worse. Currently in queue at 16:12.

Over 19 minutes now, as a side note I have made over 1000 favor watching the repetitive Alienware Ad

For NA servers, that is insane. I can't imagine why it would get that high. I would think it's still relatively populated even in the earlier hours of the day.

The repetitiveness of the ads is a bit crazy. But some of the channels on my tv are worse than this... Literal punishment.

if your queue for arena is really that long then a lot of people have put you on their personal ban list. maybe youre toxic?
