I'm assuming you play Ability Based assassins, right? are you also talking about AA Assassins too?
I'm waiting for the new update to redo all my builds properly Meta. (Normally 20~30 mins by gods with adjustment after arena test)

Serrated Edge
1. Don't pick gods without leaps/dashes etc
2. Learn what gods are the best in each role for each game type.
3. Find build that work god specifically and dont take every pro build or player build as absolution. You may play better with your own build
4. Learn beads/aegis/blink and relics because they are the 3 most powerful relics in the game. Blink is BY FAR the best top tier player relic to have on a damage dealer as a SECONF RELIC, NOT FIRST. I play Hunters with beads and blink second.
5. If you don't have 5,000 hrs played, your opinion is iirelevant. Check peoples stats on smite guru or smite fire or forge for smite. If a 1.5 kda is talking ♥♥♥♥ to you...they have no idea what they are talking about.
Aaaaand you're out, 5k hours is useless in this game. You either have people who are good at 200 hours, and people who suck no matter what with 20.000 hours. I have seen both, take 99% of those lvl 200-300+ streamers, they all suck. Most of the suggestions i made to builds were looked down upon cause i didn't know what i was talking about. Meanwhile my suggestions are now implemented cause some dude like weak3n suddenly does it. They are all just meta copy pasters, can't think for themselves.
That's reasonable, better than some other guy saying that if you have less than 5,000 hours you have no right to an opinion. Do you have any advice on building AB assassins and AA assassins?
Situational awareness, rotation, planting some wards, invade when you can, callouts to warn others for danger, pinging enemy god pathing when they are about to invade a lane. That's over half the game. Took me quite some time to get used to it, constantly forgot which button prompts were for which callout. There is so much to keep track of as a jungler, most of the time you will be looking at the map just so you won't miss out on a camp.
I actually advice to play as support first if you want to jungle, once you have your first item and are level 5, you technically become a second jungler, going from lane to lane, helping out with a camp or 2. Almost the same job, but instead of doing the killing blows you set up the kills. You are sturdier so you have a better chance to understand the jungle before you get killed.
For builds, AA have 2 types, raw damage or crit, ability based are tricky as there are a bunch of different builds. If you are unsure what to build, you could always check online for some builds, then modify it to your preference. For instance, i like Anubis jungle, he functions way better for that than mid lane, but i simply can't go without building Chronos Pendant on him first, which is completely different than what most will build. Mass cooldown for 1 item, mp5, i won't have mana issues the second i try to gank someone and most of the times my cd's are down again for another attack, that's what i want but i understand why people think it's weird. It simply functions for me, can't stand having to go back for mana every minute.
Also, learn to ignore most toxicity, does wonders to your mental health :P some will never apologize, some will admit they were wrong, some give actual advice, some just want to have some fun. Just now i had a game in which someone missclicked a god and we didn't have a hunter, we discussed what to do, he went damage, i went semi damage support, Kuzenbo is sturdy so i almost didn't have to guard him later on so i could focus on defending the other 2 squishies a bit more. He felt so bad, but mistakes can be made, we still won in the end as our teamplay was great, so much cc.
