He is not bad, his ult is still really powerful but it's true than other guardians do thing better than him.
His CC is also ussually limited to single target, which lowers his teamfight capability.
Don't get me wrong, his root can get more than one person, but it is pretty difficult to root +2 of the enemies.
HOWEVER, he does have a protection debuff to help your team shred the enemy tanks AND it can provide damage mitigation which can greatly lessen enemy burst on your team.
Also, the ult can:
- Save a teammate from death.
- Get a teammate back in the fight (at higher levels, 45% health).
- Give a teammate the speed boost to run/chase.
- Discourage the enemy from finishing off an ally.
And really, 3.6s of CC on a target at max root + pull isn't bad.
Personally, I like Khep, he can definately work.
His passive can help out a bit too! But if your teammate keeps walking away from you it can be difficult to stack.
ANYWAYS, if you enjoy playing him you can probably do good with him all the way up to really high level play (where meta starts to matter more).
Since really, in casual games anything can work, meta matters more in competative play.
(P.S. I like Khepri, gotta get him to mrX xD)
I like Khepri alot and I am not bad with him......if my ADC is good then I always get kills assists.
