SMITE
Charmander787 Sep 25, 2016 @ 10:43am
Official SMITE forums.
There are not alot of people on this forum even though there are a bunch of players.

The official SMITE forums have much more people and much more active discussions. Just log in with your Hi Rez credentials.

Link if anybody need: http://forums.smitegame.com/

Also worth posting any issues you have there (bugs glitches etc), as Devs won't se them here. As goes for any suggestions (Gods ideas etc).

Noone cares about the official forums either, everyone is on the subreddit.

Reddit is also a decent place. But I prefer not to touch those grounds.

The Official Smite Forums has a much better community IMO

I am just giving everyone a second option to these forums if they are looking for more people to talk to about smite.

I like going on the Steam forums, just because they're easier to access.
I have this horrible bug where nothing would save and I have to re-enter my name/password every time I enter chrome, I didn't even found any solution

Well if you are using chrome, you can make it so that it memorizes the username and password making logging in easy as clicking 2 buttons.

I dont know about that bug though, I just know that you have to relog in if you are offline a certain period or lock or log off/shut down your computer

I was actually saying Reddit is not my favorite place. Sorry, should had been more clear. I am on the forums if I am not playing. :-)

Oh I thought you were comparing these forums and reddit.

I myself am not a fan of reddit.

why do you need to make a post about the offical smite forum? i would think that everyone who plays this game knows that its there, and that if people wanted to go there then they would without you needing to point out that it exists...

Hey did you know that soccer is played with a ball?

thanks for stating an obvious pointless post

Not necessarily true. Some people don't seem to realise that it was out before Steam and might assume Steam forums are the only ones.

And we do get plenty of posts here with people demanding the devs respond, since they're used to lots of Steam games where Steam is the main (or only) distribution source and so the devs are active in their Steam forums, when they aren't going to get that here for Smite.

So while that might seem obvious (I knew Valve didn't even pay attention to the TF2 Steam discussions as much as the subreddit), it's actually also obvious that not everyone knows that about Steam discussion forums just from looking at threads that show up around here every so often.

Yeah, this thread is far from pointless. Some people really don't know about the official forums.

Yes that is exactly what happned.

I loved going on the forums for the games i play and when I discoverd the official smite forums, i made the switch immediately. I now post on both here and the official forums :D

Yeah but devs frequent the official forums much more.

Just about a week ago, a HiRez employee (Cant think of name of top of head) asked for new MOTD ideas.
