they went up because people from 1st world countries were using an exploit to buy cheap and resell, everyone is getting fkd over thanks to the privileged idiots
XD
People are always going to look for a way to save $, rather then being angry at people getting gems to use on the laughably overpriced gambling economy hi res made up, be angry at hi res for making said gambling economy that makes people want to spend less.
Just look at World of Tanks/Wargaming if you want to see how greedy a company will be regardless of the complaints of it's playerbase. Literally p2w except its basically the only game like it, Warthunder doesn't play anything like it even if it also has tanks. Even if a game is dying, the only thing that matters is the bottomline. All they have to do is squeeze more money out of the playerbase without spending much on improvements. Welcome to unregulated Capitalism. Profit first.
Just take the god pack. thats how much this game is worth, 30 dollars and no one more than that. I dont think that game deserve more than that from my wallet.
I mean. its an "average" game compared to the others and i prefer to use my "game budget" money in other games.
People mainly play smite for the skins and the memes.
Yep, pretty much every popular game follows this model: prioritization of microtransactions with a less emphasis on meaningful content.
Unfortunately, a lot of people lack the will to resist microtransactions, hence why microtransactions are the standard for every single game regardless of genre. Gaming companies are making far more money now releasing less content than ever.
They just increased the normal prices for everyone that isn't american/european for NO REASON whatsoever.
I got a feeling they are very xenophobic and don't want us playing their game.
Even for Eu they increades Prices.... Not on Gems but on skins. There are quite a few skins wich cost 400 gems "back then" in Season 1-5 but now the very same skin costs 1200 gems... (no joke)
So yeah while it relly sucks to be gamer from 3rd world.... here,,,, its just a greedy company
