Starter Items

For some reason I can't buy the upgrades to starters items, I bought 'benevolence' a few times, but I couldn't buy 'compassion.' Why can't I buy the upgrades?

Have you reached the minimum level requirement? Yeah i know, it's stupid, especially cause most have a lvl 20 requirement which is absurd.

that is actually very important as quite often supports fall behind in terms of levels. Be it due to roaming a lot thus not getting much farm or simply dying to save your teammates

That seems frustrating for getting starter item upgrades; it doesn't seem very incensing if leveling up is tedious

Levels should not be your priority as a support in the first place... it should be being the first one in and the last one out in a team fight. I don't think you really understand some of the basics

I kinda get that leveling up shouldn't be my main priority, leveling up is more for junglers and carries, they rack up most of the damage; so if it takes longer for supports to level up, then why can't supports have lower level requirements to upgrade their starter items

Most people need lvl 20 to upgrade a starter, supports only need 17.
