Unable to load up gem store?

So, I'm trying to purchase some gems, but the store doesn't load for me both on a browser and in-game. Just wondering if anyone has a fix for this or has possibly experienced this before and has a solution, thanks.

first off the HiRez store doesn't work, i don't know why they don't take that f'n thing down . . . you have to have you overlay enabled for steam and it should work via the game "GEMS" button . . . i think you can search for them to in the store but never found it that route . . . took me MONTHS to get that figured out and it took all of two minutes after embarrassing LoFi & Valve . . . imagine running a company and having no clue what you're doin >< embarassing . . .


so to recap . . .


***** turn on your steam overlay, make sure your wallet is right (cash & permissions), log into the game, click the gems / store thingie and it should spawn the overlay and pop up the page to buy *****

Do you have the steam overlay enabled ? Because you need to have it enabled to purchase gems through Smite with Steam.
