Not sure they'd do that seeing how they haven't done Haephestus(Vulcan) or Mars(Ares).

Or Pluto (Hades), or Jupiter (Zeus)... There are a lot they won't do in the Roman and Greek pantheons I guess sicne they kind of already have.

The problem isn't the thing they are god/goddess of. It is the fact that Roman and Greek dieties are so similar due to the beliefs of the 2 cultures that there isn't much to differentiate them. You could do it with some, but not a lot of them.

exept i think it could work with helios and selene because helios and selene are the sun and moon, and have no other characteristics to my knowledge. Apollo is also the god of poetry and medicine, and artimes is also the goddes of the hunt. At least they should selene though because afaik there isn't any moon god/goddes except chung'er.

Chang'e and Awilix are labeled as moon goddesses but Artemis is technically a moon goddess. Also Sol is the sun and it would make more sense to add her brother, Mani, for the moon rather than add roman Artemis and Apollo

It's not that they're similar, it's that the Romans basically conquered the Greeks, and it made more sense to keep the gods/goddesses around. They changed the names of course, so they can be identified as Roman. I think they did this because it would cause less dissent between people, and they were probably already worshipping the same gods/goddesses already, just with different names. If I remember correctly, Janus, is the only Roman God, currently in game, who wasn't Greek to start with.

I could see them actually adding both, because while they are similar to Apollo and Artemis, they are actually a bit different. They're also oddly enough Greek, I mistook them for Roman ones by mistake. I do believe they wouldn't include Helios though, because he's technically a titan.

Because you're thinking of Cronus, who was the titan, Chronos was in fact a primordial deity, much like Nox (Nyx) and Terra (Gaia).

Helios and Selene are not Roman, they're Greek. Also, Helios isn't the Roman counterpart to Apollo, his counterpart is Apollo, or Phoebus. Artemis' is Diana.

Also, technically yea, I suppose Artemis and Apollo do have domains over the sun/moon- though, playing as one of the main personifications of the sun, or the moon could potentially be hella cool.

8 just remember that supposedly the Romans combined the roles of selene and artimes and Apollo and helios. I'm not sure if it was true or not.
