Is this game dead in Australia ?

I used to love Smite but I stopped being able to find matches in Australia. Is the game still dead ?

As for OP, seems people just go to the NA servers. Even SEA users are playing there (I'm also from SEA) and I'm not experiencing any lag or Desync.

OCE player here and yeah if I want to pvp I just go to NA servers the delay is quite minimal and you can actually find matches. Before timed queues it was still possible to find a match

Certain regions are dead yes. Smite isn't hugely popular and definitely hasn't been growing much to my knowledge if at all. Certain regions/servers would definitely be affected by this for various reasons.

Yeah from AUS I play on the NA, can only find one or two games and that is on any give day in the AUS servers.

Would be interesting to know the numbers.

I tried NA servers a long time ago and could not land any skill shot based spells. Has this lag improved or are mages still pretty much useless ?

If you lead your shots by just a tad you will be fine. I have no problem playing mages myself.

if you can then only play in na or eu. based on the threads i've seen going back a long time, i would have to guess that the other servers are terribly low on population and people are changing regions to play.
