Patch 6.1, Hello New Season!
We've got a lot of stuff coming for Season 6, so let's all talk about it here.

Skins.
Vapor Wave (Poseidon): I hate it, it's Tech. Moving on.

Gladiator (Guan Yu): This is the Skin Reward Ranked Players will be getting, looks cool, but no toe stabs, 0/10.

Cross-Play: PC, Xbox and Switch players will now be able to play with each other across each platform and your accounts across all 3 can be linked, say you're level... 97 with every god unlocked and 5 Diamond ranks on PC, you'll now have that on Xbox and Switch. PS4 isn't getting this, "thanks" Sony.

Role Ques: When you que for Conquest, both Normal and Ranked, you choose your 2 preferred roles before getting qued. This means, no more people insta locking without calling out roles, you'll now be shown upfront what your role, and everyone elses' role is upon entering God Selection. Which means you can tear them apart when they pick a god that's terrible for the role they have.

Totem of Ku: This little guy spawns at the 1 minute mark and vanishes for the rest of the match at the 15 minute mark. It respawns every minute until then.
It starts off with 300 Health and gains 250 more everytime it respawns, when a Team claims it, they all get 25 Gold and their Tower Areas become empowered, giving them a Buff of 5% Movement Speed and 25 MP5 for as long as they stay in the Tower's radius and for 10 seconds after leaving it. The Empowered Towers effect ends as soon as the Totem respawns. Also... Abilities don't damage the Totem, you have to take it out with Basic Attacks.

Conquest "Starting": Minions now spawn 1:00 after the Game starts instead of 1:30 and the Fountain gives a Movement Speed buff when leaving it ala the Pyromancer Buff until the Minions spawn and the game REALLY begins.

Gold Fury Changes: the Gold Fury now has 2 new Forms, Oni and Primal, the Gold Fury will always be the Default version when it first spawns in, but after its 1st death, it will randomly pick from the other 2, avoiding picking the same Fury twice in a row.
Normal Gold Fury remains the same, it has a base Gold Reward of 150, increasing by 6 every minute.
The Oni and Primal Furies give less Gold overall, having a base of 115, increasing by 5 every minute, they do however give something else along with the Gold. All 3 have the Same EXP reward
The Oni Fury causes the Next wave of Minions in all 3 lanes to have a MASSIVE buff that can stack with the Fire Minion Buff.
Oni Fury Minion Buff increases their damage by 150%, their health by 50%, their Physical Protections by 50 and their Magical Protections by 60. Again, this will Stack with the Fire Minion Buff they get after killing a Phoenix.
The Primal Fury gives the Team that kills it a PERMANENT 5% damage increase against Jungle Camps and Bosses that can stack up to 3 times, each time a team kills it, a Brazer on the Wall behind the Fury Oracles will light up to signify how many stacks of the Buff each team has.

The Pyromancer now has 2 Brazers of its own, with one lighting up to show which team killed it and if the buff is active.

The Fire Giant is now tougher then ever, after bringing up its Flame Wall, it will perform a special move after every Basic, including the return of the Magma Pools. Its new rotation will be.
2 Basics - Flame Wave - 2 Basics - Rock Barrage - 2 Basics - Flame Wall and afterwards, it becomes.
1 Basic - Magma Pools - 1 Basic - Flame Wave - 1 Basic - Rock Barrage - Rinse and Repeat until it dies or every god in its area dies.

The Enhanced Fire Giant has also recieved some pretty huge buffs.
Its base Health has been increased from 6000 to 7000.

His Ult also had its Base Damage adjusted, it now deals less at Ranks 1 and 2, but deals more at Ranks 4 and 5, its Scaling has also been increased from 50% to 55%.

And that's everything... Christ this was a long one, but then again its the release of a New Season. I personally want a Ne Zha rework/Buff to happen, but we'll see how Titan Forge will treat the kid. Feel free to share your thoughts cause this took me an hour to type.

How will role que be any different than now? People can still instalock and play whatever (and wherever) they want. Unless the role que is supplemented with a new policy making it a reportable offense to lock in a role different than assigned, then this change was pointless.

What a boring way to start off a new season. 1 skin, small conquest changes and some balance stuff?
I still think role queue and starting at bronze is an idiotic idea, but I guess we'll finally see how it actually plays out.
About crossplay, the patch notes say this: "A new option has been added to the settings menu where console players can restrict their crossplay". Does this mean PC players can't disable it?

Which is exactly what I say anytime someone suggests it as a good change.
People can still pick a Mage support, Jungle, ADC etc. They will either troll a lane by going to a different one (mages in mid for instance), or they will cause the team to suffer for picking something that just doesn't work well overall.

Though, reading the website Patch Notes, it does give bonus TP for filling a role that is needed, so maybe that will help?

Can't see any mention of it for PC (I hope this is just an oversight). At least it's disabled by default for Ranked modes.

Mate, the full patch isn't even out yet.

Hell for skins it literally says "More 6.1 Skins coming soon!"
Also damn that poseidon skin may very well be his actual best

About crossplay, as i know they wrote. That you can choose about input methode!

That means if i get a controller on my pc , he think that im a Controll player, and can play with Xbox players.

I wrote it allready , there are few tricks to manipulate this.

Anyway i hope pc players get the same feature as Console player.
But the fact is, On console they earn atm more money then on pc.
But the playerbase is not that high there.

THE only reason why we have to deal with crossplay, is actually that console earn more money, but has not enough player :)

Thats why we have to deal with this UI; Crossplay, and several other things are not optimazed for pc.

PS. " About crossplay, the patch notes say this: "A new option has been added to the settings menu where console players can restrict their crossplay". Does this mean PC players can't disable it?"

No they wont do that for pc. If they would add the option, they could also remove crossplay at all.
Cause trust me, ALL decent players wont crossplay ;) they would deactivate it.

and if all do this, the playerbase is still not playable on console.
So no we wont get this option 100% sure, we have to deal with it or leave the game.

Ps2.

@recalleddread as i know about ranked, If a console player input a mouse and keyboard on his console, he is able to play with us Pc player in ranked, even if he has no Chat.
What is really annoying if you ask me

Holy crap how did I miss that, and also the Merlin info. Guess I was a bit too quick to judge.
Anyone know if Merlin is actually coming out in 6.1 or if it's just some info on him with the release being later?

But how would they know if you actually fulfilled your role or not? I think it gives TP regardless of what you do so long as you were assigned a different role.

Exactly why I'm dubious at best about this specific addition.

Its still a concept that has been used way too often the past few months. I'll update this later after they show the other skins, my bad, I wanted to get this out as soon as I saw the Balance changes.

This will literally crater the PC pop if it isn't an option. I have ZERO interest in playing with console players and I know I'm not the only one.

meh was hoping that items from the Console version would cross over to the PC version but the notes seem to suggest it's only a one way move..

Like the crossplay option, I would assume this is an oversight. Seems odd that it wouldn't go both ways, unless it's to do with Microsoft etc.

I just used PC to console as an example, I'm pretty sure it works both ways, you're effectively linking the Accounts so everything you got on both or all 3 systems will be mixed together.
