How do you change the HUD to "Console" so you can use your Xbox controller and play Cross-play?

plugging the controller alone doesn't work on its own, i can move but do nothing else

actually crossplay is not includet, but you still can play with your xboxcontroller smite on PC.
For this go to hotkey config, and you can setup every key with your controller if this isn't config yet.

For me i got most buttons allready boundet, maybe you delete the alternativ hotkey's?
Cause this are the settings for your controller, you can also try to reset all your hotkey's to standart, this should work.

Still you will play only against player on pc, i dont get the point to plugin a controller and play with this, against and with pc players, but this is your decision.

oh no i was actually going to practice playing on the controller so i can try and play with Console/Switch players when Cross-play is on, but when i plugged the controller almost nothing worked besides aim and movement.

The console players are just Xboners and Switch players. I doubt we'll ever see PS4 cross play as Sony is as bad as MS when it comes to certain things. My money is on it will be a buggier mess come 6.1. Do you think Hi-Rez will manage to test cross play first on the PTR?

I mean i hope they make it work, i support Hirez for trying whatever the result is.
