STARTUP issues Fix is here !

so both my PC and laptop has a startup failure cant even exit the game with out login out or restarting smite. there is one solution is to start in window mode and then putt full screen on once game starts up. starting to hate thoes video start intro before game starts

Try adding the hirez folder to windows defender exception list so it isn't scanned upon launch. Solved a bunch of my issues.

ye but that only fixes the "boot time" of smite starting up faster with windows defender. but i got a Eset security so wont let me change thoes anymore. but this game is official and shoulnt have a problem "having to allow firewall" .. they are using some old engiens or something since u have to instal thoes preq.. anyways i have tryed to use luncher options to skip thoes videos in the begining but that wont seem to work at all .. they just ignore. laptop did work to start in window mode once you in you can resize it to full screen. so i will try the same for my pc . but hopefully they can fix this BS real quick. allot of smite comunitys are having the same issue .. its time to make real improvements

just found the issue its DX9 !

here is the FIX

so use these start lunch options in steam

 -windowed -force-d3d11 

and after that hold Alt + Enter to get full screen and change resolution . let me know if that helped?

Thanks man! It worked for me. However I've launched game as x64 bit version, x32 didin't work. And unfortunately DX11 changed graphics in game to such a low quality. At least I took my reward

Didnt work for me. Still just hangs on the logos at the start. Guess i'll just do the fix that will work 100%: Uninstall and play something else.

i made a smite support ticket about it but ive done most the work and i only get copy pasted robot answers back
nothing works, they have to hotfix

I tried everything. Only a re-install fixed the issue. Seems the Easy Anti Cheat got screwed up in the last patch.

Yesterday I reinstall Hi-Rez Service and it created folder with Fake service and etc. Today I tried to lauch game windowed and forced dx11 but it doesn't work (but it worked before reinstalling services). Is it bound with service reinstalling or not?

what service are u talking about the Eac ? on windows button search dxdiag what directX version u got? also goto

  steamapps\common\SMITE\Binaries\EasyAntiCheat 

run that setup after that go to

 \Documents\My Games\Smite\BattleGame\Config 

Find: D3D11 in BattleSystemSettings and BattleEngine

• AllowD3D11=true
  
• PreferD3D11 "optional" but try
  
• UseDX11=True
  
• UseD3D11Beta "optional" but try

but read the window when u start smite does it say: dx9 dx11. cuz if it says dx9 you have to force it to run dx11 or other versions thoes are easy to find using google steam lunchoptions
this is why i said to try this cuz it worked for me and try both run smite in 32 and 64 se what works for you

  -windowed -force-d3d11
-windowed -dxlevel 90 -nocrashdialog 

make sure you got thoes installed

 \steam\steamapps\common\SMITE\Binaries\Redist 

you got to try good luck and im not a pro but. my issue is with nvidia/steam overlay with smite and EAC and graphic stuff dx9 dx11 seem to strugle. yester day i could run 64 but then that stop working but then 32 worked so things are real wierd

make sure you always run on window when it starts untill you login and things seam fine then go full screen. if you uninstall make sure all the smite folders are gone just to get that clean instal. well i never advice anyone to reinstall but could work who knows you have to try it all cuz like me you need this game haha if not join me on GTA 5 haha
