i cant login with Gmail

i try to log in with a gmail(google mail) account and it throws me out can someone help me?

Im having the same problem aswell and i use a mac so i have to login with google i've tried using my Hirez login from there site and it doesnt allow me to once the relogin prompts. conntacted Todd Harris about this and 'am waiting for a reply.... that was yesterday

okay I had a similar issue but got it resolved by finding an similar situation that effected the Paladins forums two years ago. Here are the steps I followed.

Step 1: go to hirezstudios.com and login with your google account

Step 2: go to "my account" tab and look for your username, it should start with a U and followed up with random numbers, that is your username and you CAN'T change it. Copy it and save it for future reference.

Step 3: make sure your email is attached to your account, if not do so. To add an email it should say "email" below your username on the "My account" page

Step 4: logout of your account and click on the login screen again, BUT DON'T LOGIN YET, click the "cant login" button on the bottom and get sent an email to request a password change. (it may ask for your username, the username is the one that starts with "U" and has random numbers after it) it will send you a temporary password to that email.

Step 5: login to your account (you can do so by putting in the username that starts with "U" and has a bunch of numbers, followed by the temp password, or by logging into google like normal) then on the "My account" page you will select new password, where you can put the temp password in the "current password" box, followed by the desired password.

Step 6, once you have your desired password, log out of the Hi-Rez site and log in with your U-number user name and password to make sure it works (it should since you just created the password)

Step 7 - load up Smite, log in with the U-Number user name and Password... and that should get you into the game with all your goodies and stuff that you've unlocked.

Same issue. Can log in to the launcher and changed password mutliple times but I cant use it to get beyond the game login screen

THANK YOU @FRED. Worked for me just now - only addition is that my username did not begin with U, only numbers, but the guide still worked.
I think they have created a distinction between account username and account ID since you ran into this problem, or created a newer system for newer accounts

Just a Helpful Advice, never use Facebook/Gmail Logins. These tend to always have problems through majority of online games.
Just make an actual account.
