I built bloodforge.
You need evolved Soul eater for ability lifesteal on physical gods or that ability itself must be lifestealing by description.
- Works on Basic attacks
- Works on Abilities
- Capped at 65%
Physical Lifesteal (Assassins, Hunters, Warriors only);
- Works on Basic attacks ONLY
- Capped at 100%
- Soul Eater (evolved) allows abilities to lifesteal (capped at 15% of damage dealt)
Both;
- Capped at 33% for AOE abilities (per enemy hit I believe)
With Soul Eater, you get 10% lifesteal which works on basic attacks. The Evolved form allows abilities to lifesteal for 15% (this does not stack with the 10% it already has that I am aware of).
For Da Ji specifcally, her 2 is not a basic attack, nor does it count as one in a similar way to Mercury's 1. I also wouldn't build lifesteal on her, chances are you aren't going to make much use of it anyway (though, Bloodforge is useful for the shield and power).
1 - Auto-attack (but many items do not work with it)
2 - Ability
3 - Ability
4 - Ability
So, pretty much life-steal is not useful here...
I would assume it's just the basic attacks for Physical gods.
My reasoning being that the base stats of Soul Eater seem to only apply to basics, and it's passive doesn't seem affected by other lifesteal items. So, I don't see why Pythagorem's Piece would affect it's passive. Effects that increase healing might though (Rod of Asclepius for instance)
Though, I would have to test it properly in Jungle Practice, since it's not an item I use much (beyond Pele anyway).
I have always suspected it might actually give ability lifesteal to physicals because of the magical origins, but that's just my theory crafting. Never really properly tested it. Like 50/50 theory :)
It doesn't give ability lifesteal to physicals on it's own, only increases lifesteal amount.
It might increase ability lifesteal if the player has Soul Eater, but I'm not sure it will. Would need testing properly.
