Most can solo.
Some can Jungle.

For Athena, she can Support, Solo, AND Jungle well enough. Personally I'd prefer her in support, but it depends on team comp.

I don't see how she can solo or jungle. Maybe I just built her wrong, IDK. But she's a beast with crowd control and drawing the enemy away from her allies, so definitely a good support. And her ult is literally her jumping into th middle of a fight anywhere to defend her teammates.

her ult is literally a free gank every 2 minutes or less depending on cdr, if you combo her 3-2 efficiently it can be a devastating damage burst, usually one combo anyone if you get ahead. as long as you build hybrid to avoid dying instantly to an adc when you taunt them it should be pretty easy

You just need to see incon's videos to believe mate but anyway Athena can work in solo because her clear is good and she will get sustain from her warrior's blessing. Also block stacks work well against erlang osiris bellona .It could have been better with vamp shroud but oh well. And you know her ult and teleport glyph = infinite mobility

Since you are talking about peeling for ur teammate with Athena, I think Athena's peel is really questionable. Sure it's a taunt to keep them away from your carry but if there are 2 or more enemies they might as well turn on you with that taunt and kill you instead. It's because you have to angle yourself away from your team at least by 90 degrees because it's no good taunting them in the same direction as ur carry is running away to get the enemy off ur teammate. Extremely good positioning may be needed if you are doing that since you have to escape with your dash and that can be blocked to cut you off. Ymir on the other hand may just freeze lock them in place, throw up a wall and might be able to escape himself. As can kumbhakarna. Don't for sure Athena's cc is really questionable and highly situational.

My attacks don't do crap, but then again I don't build damage Athena.
