File Not Found: "EasyAntiCheat/Cache/easyanticheat_wow64.eac"

Checked Firewall permissions.
Re-authenticated and up-to-date.
Re-installed prerequisite programs.
Re-installed Easy Anti Cheat/ran repairs.
Validated files through Steam.
No dice.

Help?

So, so far what "works" for me is: when the splash screen with the loading bar gives you the error, open up EasyAntiCheat_Setup located roughly in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SMITE\Binaries\EasyAntiCheat" and repair the service with the screen still up. Then the most important thing is when the launcher opens next, logout of the Hi-Rez launmcher and log back in, then try. Hope this helps!

Edit: Reinstalling EasyAntiCheat at the splash screen has been worked out of this fix and been replaced with rerunning the authentication service.

I am having the same problem for about a week now and have been emailing hirez back and forth. I've literally almost tried everything that I can think of and now I am losing hope. Any help would be appreciated

Try logging out of the SMITE launcher but more importantly, from the settings gear icon go to troubleshoot which should pull up an entierly different window, click restart/check for updates and wait for the service to restart and promt you with a text box, close that and the troubleshooter which should then reopen the launcher, log in and try.

I tried to both repairing the EasyAntiCheat_Setup and troubleshoot but both didn't work

Its usually bad internet connection. What i mean by this is that i only get this when i am connected to a bad wifi. The message will also appear when you try to launch the game without a internet connection so thats my backup.

I had this error once when ESET Antivirus blocked some URL while launching the game. After launching it again it worked without me doing anything. But i guess it could be your AV blocking some connections
