Why do people bully me for playing Loki :(

Roughly 8/10 of Loki and Thanatos players in casuals like Arena are just terrible and do it wrong. Loki is not about sitting in camp the whole game and Thanatos is not about diving enemy fountain 1 vs. 5. I have seen good Loki and Thanatos players, but those are really rare.

For beginners there are easier assassins to master. And for pro modes there are Da Ji, Serqet, Nemesis and Camazotz all arguably better right now.

Which means you need quite some skill to have good results with Loki. Many gods can burst as good as Loki or even better and you are not the only stunning personality in the field.

The harsh reality is experienced, team players will more often than not destroy you and your god isn't even that great right now.


If you play Arena, a good target is around 20ooo player damage. Without feeding.
More is better. If you are the quite common 10ooo damage Loki, you suck even with a positive k/d balance. Your performance is too low and someone else must do all the job alone.
If you get 20ooo player damage or more, I'm perfectly fine with you playing Loki.

In other modes it is just harder to call a reasonable number as they varry a lot more.

i hate having lokis on my team since they provide nothing in team fights, and when one happens most of them just kind of sit there, waiting for a pick since thats how you usually do it.

Daji ult can only pull 3 enemies (and that's if you land it, dashes/stealth/teleports/leaps exist, while Ares can pull the entire enemy team, magi's cloak being "trash" doesn't stop the fact that ypou could use it. And if you do pull them, what's gonna happen next? I can tell you - they will either stun your team if they are CC heavy or dash away.

Thanatos has an execute which can't be countered by beads, passive lifesteal, 2 slows and a steroid.

Daji has a useless 1, relies on blink to get away and has an easy to counter ultimate.

for the last few days Da Ji has been either banned or picked in all SPL and SML games and has had 100% win ratio or very close. Loki (this topic) or Thanatos - never picked nor banned. Git gud or at least open your eyes to what is happening around you.


And yeah, Da Ji will get nerf next Tuesday. Not sure about the results, but for now it is as it is.
