2: Too much controversy. I don't think Christians would take to the Messiah killing people.
This has been said approximately 5426927590176`94690170710207 times before in countless threads.
Take it up with Hi-Rez, mate. They're the ones who said they won't be doing it so if you don't believe me, ask them.
"Because the concept of the game is to do Pantheons and HiRez made the decision not to provoke too much controversy by trying to work in monotheistic mythologies for a variety of reasons.
This topic can tend to get controversial, so the Mods will likely lock this kind of thread since we get this type a couple times a month and there's not much to really discuss when that's the reasoning and there's nothing to be done to change it, so it just descends into fighting."
They addressed that controversy already.

Those religions aren't dead. -_-
There are many odinists and people trying to revive the Roman and Greek faiths. I even spoke to a woman who worshipped the Egyptian gods. So yeah, not dead. Also they already ticked off the Hindus.
How was I supposed to know that? It's not every day you meet someone who worships them, so it's rather dead. Latin is a dead language even though it's still used because it's fallen out of common practice.
Very few people in the world worship those pantheons I imagine, whereas the Abrahamic religions are some of the largest ever.
They've already addressed the Hindu controversy.
They loved Ganesh in smite though.
Abrahamic religions with monodeity won't be added to Smite ever. And no, no one cares for saints and angels if there is just one god in the first place. There are heroes and monsters in Smite from ancient religions, but those religions also have dozens of deities as well to start with.
It doesn't matter what you like or don't. It will be this way. Cry or ignore - that's your choice and life.
HiRez has made a statement on this a while back as well.

Above link states they are not interesting from a gameplay perspective.
They (key figures) are all human (Noah, Adam, Moses, Jesus etc).
Never overlapped, and never fought each other with unique abilities.

Another link saying similar things, possibly a few other points here too.
