I'm guessing the targeter that comes up (the brackets around the character) was enough for them.

Might be worth suggesting it to them via twitter/official forums.

Yeah, It just seems a little odd that theres no indication on which button you have to press for it to change.

To be fair, it wouldn't be obvious to newer players. Or if the targeter isn't clear for some reason.

To older players that recognise it, it is fine. And the developers obviously don't need to be told as they designed it (so might not have occurred to them to explain it somewhere).
