Is Amaterasu worth it?

i've been playing smite for a week now and i found ama and liked her abilities , but when i searched on yt i didn't find lot of vids about her , is she worth buying ? and any tips or combos with her?

She's not in a great spot right now, but she is pretty fun. She could get a buff soon since she's getting a new skin. Ultimately if you like a god, buy them and play them. The point of the game is to have fun after all

You can try her out in Jungle Practice for free. In fact, you can try all the gods for free in Jungle Practice. Just have a go with her, see what you think of her abilities.
You can also rent gods for favour iirc. That lets you try them in actual matches.

As TheStrategicRabbit said though, she's not great atm. Other gods just do things better than her. So, if you're looking for a competetive god, she's not the one.
However, if you try her out, and enjoy her kit, that's enough reason to.

As above mention that she isn't in a good position.
I main her as a DD but now I have to run her as a Tanker especially on Arena.
She's still fun to use around and can handle on her on but better with the Team.

I like her a lot in arena, especially with some movement speed from shield of regrowth.

sort of high skillcap to maximize your ability effectiveness, but in the end she's a tank so only so much thinking is required to run at the enemy and deal damage while not taking any in return

She doesn't seem to be in a good spot right now leaving her really useless in arena. Basically all her abilities except her ult are good in arena and all you gotta do is use beads if she hits you with the ult or completely dodge it by swerving or even using a leap so she cant hit all 3 on you

Im a ama fan.. she was my first X mastery... I dont play her as often now but when i do i do pretty dankly... As far as using beads against her.. thats true with anyone. All her ult has to do is hit each time stunning on the last when ppl pop beads i just swing over to someone else. Sometimes getting ppl to ink(nemo reference) is as good as getting a ult off cause when ppl pop beads they usually get swarmed.

if you build her to be fast and learn how to use her aura for attacks and healing.. She becomes pretty fluid. Mirror also makes keeping your kills against last hitter a little easier.

One of my first gods, still one of my favorites
Nothing really gimmicky or super powerful about her, just really a "classic" warrior
Move quick, get melee hits, move back away, repeat
decent, consistant, but not huge healing and buffs for team
solid, yet simple abilities
If you can stick all 3 shots of her Ult, she can surprise people

Also, just some good Looking cosmetics as well
