I had a 700 or so minute deserter ban for missing 4 lobbies or something idk tbh, 2 in which I couldn't control, waited the 700 mins, it was like 12 hours on the dot. Logged in today and could finally queue some calm morning Casual CQ. I got into the lobby get ADC assigned to me so I hovered over some ADCs I enjoy playing, but then I alt tabbed from a discord message ping while in the lobby still and got distracted to the point it ended up running outa time for me to pick a god...

should get banned for much longer for wasting peoples time. Everyone is waiting and because u get distracted now everyone needs to go back on que again... Specially for people who do this multiple times. My opinion.

you should just be banned from game after a while, don't waist people's time its a few secs to do what you need to do (click accept pick god done).

It even does a giant ping and notification when game is ready.

Wrong, the lobby won't tell you when to lock/pick a god you're talking about the queue timer to get into the lobby that isn't the same thing. I always accepts that or I wouldn't get banned for not picking a god.

Necro here: New way to beat the deserter penalty is to let the game launch, then DC. For some makes no sense reason...you don't get deserter if you DC once game starts. Your team surrenders at 5 and you can end up in their next game lobby. Terrible system. Smite falling apart has done it to themselves.
