It is not even closely as common as you say.
Its stats are surely good and its price:quality ratio is very good but I would say that this weapon only gives powerspike in very specific stage of the match. When this moment passes this item gets normal.

Removing it or nerfing again would be bad idea. It is no longer game breaker.


Given that Mid-Season patch will add lots of items and remove few it might turn out that Blackthorn Hammer will end up as one of these items we call "not worth purchasing".

350 health and basically infinite mana AND 10% cooldown is insane early game to the point if an assassin builds it he can easily farm players with little to no effort. for example fenrir and ravana.

it's really strong and if i may say it was even beter before the change on when it gives mana. i used to build it a lot back when it was not popular and i was getting yelled at and mocked for doing so. "look at your build" "it's crap and you suck"..... look at them now tho, building it with a smile because they saw it in a video.

when streamers and youtubers build something or call something strong most of the people will follow. when they stop seeing it a lot then it will go out of "fashion". having said that tho while the item is amazing i wouldn't call it really broken. yeah, i hate going up against someone with it because of the hp but at the same i prefer them to have that instead of some other items which shall not be named.
