People won't directly flame Ymir, but he is the most troll character because of his wall. He can either be god tier with a heavy CC team, like heavy CC team, if they can keep an entire team in his ult, it can pretty much kill the entire enemy team by itself; or he can also be the most annoying character by blocking his own teamates with walls so they die to enemy, or putting wall to prevent his team from chasing enemy, or cancel his teamates from backing with his walls (it moves them if spawned under, canceling the backing).
As for Loki, people flame saying he's "useless" or "noskill" because he's a one-trick pony of "buff, ult, flee", being "useless" in team fight and only picking on people fleeing. Though I would personally argue against that. He can take down enemy mage/carry(for example, Poseidon which his ult can do devastating damage to the other team) at the start of a team fight and then help finish the rather squishy people, balancing the battle toward his team. Though most of them will just wait, not helping at all, go in to finish, get kills and flee to keep a 'good' kda ratio; which is the main reason of why everyone hates him both in their own team or in enemy team, imo.
Other than those 2 "troll pick/character that gets flamed", people rarely flame for a pick that fits with the team. Ofc, if you pick a role that is odd, like too many mages, people will be mad because it breaks the meta and if not very well organized, can 100% be the downfall of your team. Same if you do really badly, lots of people will get mad and flame. Though I guess there can always be kids who think meta and top played gods is the only viable thing and would be mad if you don't play what they want.
Odin and Bastet are also good candidates for bad gods, although Bastet's issues lie from QoL problems more than anything
sorry i love this god and ... perhaps i used to rock with it ,)
___________________________________________________
if you ask me about the worst god i'd say :
_sylvanus [fun but ... not a game changer at all , low heal , low everything]
_...depends of the game mode indeed = conquest must be played by all roles so ... / but if you are in assault you will suffer with assassins most of the time
_recently i've seen people having much pain with horus
_osiris is personnaly a god i find useless and broken [no real dmg , no real CC , too slow too ugly]
_special touch for Loki , i love this god but haters sincerely&deeply hate him , like if it was different to Aokuang [nobody disses Ao just because the ultimate is so beautiful but in terms of efficiency it is the same mitch]
the main thing about video games is GO HARD GO PRO , so this also means a good god is one with clear and frank skills , those with half this half that are destined to lose . if you heal do it well or dont ,) etc ... even if as an exemple cupid is a low healer but an archer after all ,)-
i stopped during months so i dont know the new gods and not interested about them .
Funny since she is one of the stronger Assassin picks.
_was mainly playing like a massive shield [backside to enemies looking at anubis indicating me danger incoming or not = i just had to be between him and enemies]_also combos well with anubis cocoon and AOE _ but .. must be in special conditions etc ...to be just a super cool tank sometimes ,)
loki never wins..... T.T
