Skin boosters not working for Unlimited skins?

For the second time in a row now I've activated a skin booster, and the rest of the team has been able to use it. I, on the other hand, haven't. Both times were on Merlin's unlimited skin (Master Soulbinder). The skin icon is fully coloured and has the blue selection border but doesn't lock-in despite the booster being applied. Is this intentional or has the skin/skin booster become bugged in the recent update?

Yep I'm running into the same issue. Probably a ploy by Smite to make people buy it

Its intentional. Unlimited skins are just like limited skins not unlockable via boosters.

"unlimited" is a sham way to name them though lol it should be rather called overpriced skinz

That sucks. They should explicitly state that on the in-game description for the booster and fix the selection issue. Unlimited skins aren't limited because you can buy them at any point, therefore they should be classed as a non-limited skin. Classing them as limited is basically having your cake and eating it. You got money? Here's your supposedly limited skin. F2P using boosters. Nah this skin is super limited dude.
