its not even about punishments only about fair rating system, if someone leave game prematurely and is like 15 minutes dcd then we shouldnt lose full amount of tribute/mmr for game that is unfair. in dota 2 if someone leave you can spam pause a lot and even ask opponents to pause game and then get bonus gold for leaver, per sec, sell his items or even play his hero. in hots if someone leave bot is playing for him that you can ping to follow you etc.

if there is a DC ... lets say after 10 minutes there should be a vote for ALL left players to disband the match ... no points gain or loose
and in match stats there should be shown who DC and who voted to stay in game / end the game, so if the other team votes NO it have to be shown that they voted to fight 5vs4 etc, but no , such simple details are not important, we need GEMS GEMS SKINNS SKINNS

adc feeding 7 deaths then rage quit early game even though we could still win late easily because enemy team had two guardians and two adcs while we had vulcan and susano who were good with positive scores...lose -30 points, this is 'ranked'? this system dont take you seriously. make it please half points lost for dc and the one who disconnected full amount or twice as much if he never returns pls it still wont be perfect but why punish whole team for one player who shouldnt be playing ranked? is discouraging new players to play your game.

is also badly influencing rank quality, four vs five is basically ez free win for maybe people who dont deserve it normally so they gain free mmr purely out of luck not skill its crap.

played today only 2 games both lost due to dcs... can provide screenshots with timestamps, the secound one we won duo and jungle 7 kills 0deaths me at support 4 as well 0 deaths but solo dcd early after dying 4 times and playing junk hero for this role with squishy build, so another -30, -60 for dcs lul, i was working whole yesterday to get to gold iv now im losing to dcs in gold v and soon probably i will get again deranked to silver because i lose games due to dcs that i should technically win... did this game get out of beta yet? it feels like not. i played dota 2 hots and lol hon all major mobas for years but only smite suffers from dcs in ranked so much what the hell.

also is always someone in my team who dcs, why someone in their team cant dc? for ez wins.
yeah i had game yesterday when someone dcd from their team and we won BUT we already were playing as four due to dc and we was praying for someone in their team to dc.........

Played to Dota a bit & LoL and got the same problems about dcs (Ranked or not).

idk it only happened to me in dota 1 because of lan style connection tunneling etc but even then people were reconnecting wit the support of host because they cared, this is not the case in smite people after dc never reconnect even in ranked. also like i said in dota 2 there are more means of comeback or even certain advantages when playing four vs five because one hero can basically wipe entire team so is completely different because differences in the items etc are huge in smite in late game everyone have full build so is much harder if not impossible. four vs five in smite is completely unfair compared dota 2 or hots, here your whole team is simply punished when someone decides to quit the game dont even try to balance it.
so far for 3 games i played today i got 1 win due to dc so yeah it happens often, i played five thousand hours of dota 2 and people could wait like five minutes for someone to return and people actually more often reconnected than left for good. maybe the reason why people are leaving for good is the defeatist mindset favoured by the surrender system dota dont have it so people have different mindset not defeatist one.

People have bad connections, people are ♥♥♥♥♥, the servers take a dump. Theres allot of reasons. People dc allot from ever online game, its not somthing that only happens on mobas.

Or maby when your neith is going 23-2 and the king arthur is just ♥♥♥♥ talking while going 0-14 at 11 pm you just reach a point where you cant be bothered to care anymore and go sleep. Things happen. Or so i hear. *sips tea*

I uninstalled this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game fk smite and hi res , they are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ company and does not care about the game just skins , they should rename the game to troll or dc s ,bc that's all you get that's every gmae

It's NA, here in EU none dc's. In league of legends they do A LOT tho.
