ban+money scheme

So my account got banned long time ago.

I used to play smite with friends so we decided to buy the gods pack! About 1 hour later a game released we didnt know about and we started playing that.

So we both refunded the Gods pack since we didnt play smite anymore and didnt touch any of the new gods.

Now my account got banned cuz i refunded!!!

I filed a support ticket and guess what... I have to PAY for my account to get restored..
So i explained the situation i did not play with the content and they are welcome to remove the bought gods etc. as long as they restore my account! Sounds fair right?

The only response i got:
Unfortunately, we can not remove the suspension unless the payment is made.

Please let us know once the payment is made.

WTF is this money scheme? + why the ♥♥♥♥ does refunding exist at all then!

It's a free to play game, you bought something in there and Steam refunds unfortunately get you banned for Smite. Your account still has access to the god pack, but Steam doesn't recognise it (different system I guess). Other people were intentionally doing this to get a "free" god pack, and very quickly got banned for it when it first came to Steam.

Refunding exists because of Steam integration. The non-Steam version doesn't have the refund, and the money HiRez got from the Steam purchase of the god pack, is no longer theirs (refunded).

It should be made clearer, I'm not sure why it isn't, but it isn't a money scheme.

thats realy fking weird then.. so i lost my account with alota ours cuz i integrated it with steam..

feels like a money scheme cuz they litteraly ask money for the ban to be lifted xD They may remove the god pack i realy dont care i just want that account back

It is because they can't remove god pack from your account. Refunds for god pack must have been removed a long time ago, it was a known bug. I had same issue, enjoyed all gods for free and year after received ban, payed for god pack again and got unbanned, what's your problem? Isn't it fair?
