So yes, Smite and TF2 have been two of my favorite games for years for being about as close to pure-F2P as it is possible to get and for a few other good design features like that.
But apart from that level of things, Smite is quite F2P friendly; lots of giveaways. I hate spending money on games, because I'm a cheapskate, but Smite won me over so I have invested a small but decent amount of money in the game over the 2 years I've been playing.
Mostly because people don't know anyone that plays Smite lol. Plus people have been playing other MOBA's for so long already. Also the MOBA genre really isn't that popular.
What I really don't get is why with game modes that aren't Conquest there is so much trouble pulling other people.One of my favorite things about Smite is I can play super casual in Assault and not even have to worry about deciding which god/role I want to play.
