People always make threads like this on new characters because they either;
a) Don't know how to play them (please buff) or
b) Don't know how to play against them (please nerf)
Amaterasu, when played well, is super OP.
Skadi, when played well, is super OP.
Poseidon, when played well, is super OP.
Nemesis, when played well, is super OP.
Notice something? Everything can be seen as OP when played well. Morrigan lacks sustain and is very vulnerable after she threw in her spells.
You forget the biggest draw back of the Morrigan ult: when your targets skilling doesn't match with yours you lose a lot. Take for example a Morrigan copying a Zeus, your ult 3 will deal significantly less damage if you didn't level up your own 3, which would cost you a lot of your own damage. And the ult only goes on for 10 seconds and has a rather high cd.
EDIT: Also something that can mess up your game flow when you ult as Morrigan: if you copy Kali you HAVE to choose a target for the Kali passive. That pretty much messes up everything in a fight.
c) The character is imbalanced.
Never assume that the initial release is always perfectly balanced. It's equally as bad as assuming a new character absolutely needs a nerf/buff.
I wasn't assuming the character is perfectly balanced. however, I don't think there is enough data/experience (with the character) from anyone making these threads to be able to say either way. Hence me only using 2 points.
Chances are the character is a little on the strong side, that is something that has to happen really. Release an UP character and no one will play it beyond the first day, meaning HiRez doesn't know what to do to change that as there isn't enough to go on to start buffing/nerfing where needed.
But I wouldnt' say she's OP, yet, people just don't know how to play her/against her atm.
