Also dont forget this Alg we are seeing was only formed about 2 months ago, they still might have communication problems do to being a new team, and there very well be other problems they need to overcome.
If you would like to watch the game in question, you can see it here
Incon was upset because he had put the team together from a bunch of "free agents" and rookies after getting dropped from EnVyUs after Season 2 where he had been playing with Weak3n, then when Weak3n got dropped from EnVyUs a little while later, Incon brought him and MLCStealth onto ALG after some of the original ALG players retired or were offered spots on "better" teams. So there had already been some bad blood started between Incon and Weak3n last year due to very similar circumstances where Incon had put a team together, then got kicked off the team and feeling like Weak3n didn't really stand up to defend him either time. Incon's point is that he's tried to be loyal to the individual players and that it's not like they were going to win Worlds regardless so why break up the team for "no reason" while remaking the team around the two newest players to the roster, while Weak3n's point is that the sponsor is kinda the boss and what they want to do is what they want to do and why not try to get some better players and give it the best shot going forward anyway?
So make of that what you will, eSports teams, at least in Smite, change their rosters up so much since there is no cap on when they can swap players around that some of these teams at SWC were a bit different than they were during the season... Presumably the new ALG roster hadn't had enough time to come together with their team play and just didn't end up playing on the level of the other teams in the tournament, but honestly even the old ALG roster team was hit or miss during the season too...
Don't worry people will be sucking Zapman's, Weaken's, Barra's or even Incon's ♥♥♥♥♥ in no time again, saying they will beat EU. And than LAN will come and EU will "suddenly" win.
