Is Skadi a bad hunter ?

I personally love Skadi, but like you never see her in Matches

Skadi is pretty good, she can be built both ability based or attack speed based(I prefer ability based, Kaldr is OP as hell).
Her 3 is the most annoying/fun ability to play against and every time I accidentally walk into it during a team fight I want to kill myself but when alone I'll slide 24/7 for the ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles.

ohh u mean Kaldr I ve seen a human walking behind her lol

she has insane burst because of her dog u can just build ability based and sit back and enjoy kaldr getting a triple she has no escape thats why people dont play her that often but she might be the most powerful hunter rt now

Skadi's main issue is she has no real way to escape and even if Kaldr is strong, he dies VERY quickly if the enemy team decides to focus him the instant they see someone get marked, plus, Skadi like every other squishy will get absolutely demolished by most assassins, key examples being Arachne, Baka, Mercury, Ne Zha and Serqet, the first 2 because they are much better boxers and can melt Kaldr in no time flat, Merc because he's much faster then her and hits like a bullet train, and Ne Zha and Serqet because they have a nasty habit of 100 to zeroing people with their insane ability and Crit damage, and Ne Zha can also bounce his ring off Kaldr to stack a protection shred on her along with burning down Kaldr. However the main reason Skadi isn't really touched outside of the lack of an escape, is the fact that she's too reliant on Kaldr, her only really damaging ability without the dog is her 1, any smart player will avoid her 3 and the ult is only really useful for the initial root and making Kaldr invincible for a few seconds, take away Kaldr, and you take away a ton of her damage, against another hunter though, especially in the early game, Skadi is a huge threat in a 1v1 since their attack speed is going to be pitiful, which makes Kaldr much harder to kill, come mid to late game though when they've likely bought ichieval or other attack speed items and she'll begin to fall off if the other hunter knows how to properly fight her and their jungler decides to keep ganking her to force her out of the lane and lose farm.

I know from duel that shadi is very good because of her boxing and damage clear. But yeah the low mobility for conquest is very bad because ganks are so potent.

Yeah, in 1v1, Skadi is first pick, first ban material. Her main weakness, ganks, are not possible in 1v1(which is also the reason you can see Noobis in 1v1). In other game modes, however, she dies in the very first ganks. Also, there are people who can shred through Kaldr like Rama, Ares, Kukulkan, Ao Kuang and AMC, and without him, Skadi loses a lot of her potential. Some of them can be a nightmare to Kaldr because of their DoT abilities, others have ablilites which also count as auto attacks, which will hit Kaldr twice.
