The only reason you may have afforded to ignore all the Kuzenbos you've seen so far is because they're either dumb and build him full support or they go full damage and get blown out of the water. No man, you don't treat him like Khepri or any other defensive Guard out there, you don't treat him like a mage either, you become annoying, you get in their face all the time and irritate your opponents. You either expose the carries or isolate the frontline. You annoy everyone who tries to back with your NeNe Kappa and, if you're good enough, you can also reset the combat timer on Blink. You see that Bacchus trying to stun someone? You use your 3 and get him out of here. You see that Cabrakan trying to make everyone dance? You use your 3 and waste him out.
The changes he's getting in 4.3 make him much better (except for the ult, which I'll get on to it later). Now that you can activate his 2 while under CC, if the Kuzenbo is decent, there's no way you can get around him since you do have to deal with him sooner or later. Right now someone like, say, Anubis could afford to wrap him in toilet paper and deal damage without fear, but that is no longer possible. The buff to his 3 means that if you can afford to meet all the requirements you can deal up to 600 + 105% damage. However, the ult nerf is just dumb - since when is +10 damage overall in exchange for 1 hit (aka -20% scaling and 1 less knockup) a good trade?
I'm not saying he's overpowered, he's not. He does, however, deserve proper credit. It's hilarious how people who don't even bother to go competitive at any point of their lives like Mythymoo or Raynday not only managed to figure him out but also either play Kuzenbo and get top damage OR play against Kuzenbos who get top damage in the entire match despite losing (I've even got a friend who managed to pull that out, by the way), while self-proclaimed "pro players" call him "THE WORST GOD ON RELEASE", all of that while wasting Thor ults on speed buffs.
Right now, his ult deals up to 550 + 100% damage. That's with 4 hits.
Tommorow, after the patch hits, it will deal up to 560 + 80% damage with 3 hits.
Trust me, you won't feel that +10 damage later in the game.
And it's not just him, you see people comparing Kuzenbo with Khepri while actively saying he's the worst support release so far. Just kill me.
Look at the comment section on the video I posted. The top comment has a chain of comments, some idiot that goes under the name of The Last Raven has said something like "Khepri has better peel and initiation AND he doesn't require blink.", because Khepri can certainly make anyone kill themselves with Thorns and disrupt everything in sight, not to mention "more overall support for the team" lul.
Not to mention he has a decent poke himself.
Spoiler: Taking hits with his reflect reduces the cooldown on his kappa throw.
What really shines is when you grab the enemy carry with the slam and collide through all the enemy minions with it. The damage adds up with each additional target you slam your victim into. If it's just the wall itself you better have a teammate follow up with CC like Anhur or ... pretty much any mage.
