why is loki still so broken

i mean come on dude he can literally 1 shot people now with the buffs some items got. not even late game either. ik he isnt played in ranked often because with enough warding and teamwork you can catch him out more often then not but in casuals when not everyone is speaking to each other hes broken af and just not counterable

Beads + aegis, live through burst, punish him.
Cus most loki players are braindead and don't know what to do next after they ult/engage you without one-shotting.
If you smart, you build protections early and play passively, then slowly get into mid/late game and snowball him.
Is that too hard?
Loki is just annoying that's all. I think that even cabrakan does the job even better and he stole his name as "fat loki"

We need megathread for loki/anubis/any other god that you suck against, where people can comlpain about them.

when I play hades I silence him out of his ♥♥♥♥ most of the time.

kumba I just cc him so he cant ult combo chain he usually dies

a good ymir can deal with loki no problem

hou yi just ult if loki is being a annoyance

basicly any Hard CC.


Loki is scary if you dont know where he is but when you ward stick close and dont go out of possition he will only endanger himself if he tries to iniate knowing that most players will spam their stuff. you can tell a loki player will ult if you have a lower health teamate and he doesnt move that much to aim his ult.

little tip to hinder loki's farming, when he uses his decoy stand in it early game it wont clear his wave thus giving him less farm.

Also play as loki either offline against AI or online to understand how his kit works or how a loki plays it helps you predict him

One of the biggest things to counter Loki: Listen.
His abilities are all very loud, just like the other Gods. This is intentional. If you aren't out of position, you should be able to make it to safety very quickly by keeping an ear out. Do that, and stack some HP, and there you go. Warlock Sash will give you incredible survivability, and Aegis will negate his DoT.
One thing you need to keep in mind is that assassins are designed to take out squishies, and quickly. If they couldn't do that quickly, they'd be useless. In a team fight, they don't have kits made to do significant damage to more than one person at a time. If that Loki uses his ult, he has just used his only escape.
As has already been pointed out, most Loki players are braindead, as well. They get complete tunnel vision, and will risk anything just to get that kill. If they blow everything (besides their decoy, which is almost completely useless for anything aside from killing minions) on one person (which they have to, to get a kill), then they are completely open to your team.
Loki is developed to deal insane damage really quickly. However, if you survive that damage, he's toast. Does he have huge pen? Get more HP. That new Book of the Dead is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool, and there's always things like Gem of Isolation to get a HP boost. You don't have to sacrifice power for survivability. You can have both, and you should have both if you have a skilled assassin running around.

I don't think it's a ward, I think it's a ritual, for 750 per use.

Came here because i just played my second pvp round after about 3 years not touching the game. in both games it was like i am playing with bots against a premade team and in both loki was in. And this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is still as ♥♥♥♥ as he was back then. getting some (bot)kills on the other lanes and about 15 minutes ingame, you cant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beat him anymore because everyone i played with, played eitherway the first time or with his head. I even survived a full combo from a fed poseidon as izanami but loki is still the one shot guy he was years ago. he takes the fun out of every random game. how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ must one be to feel exited bashing noobs with an overpowerd early game champ?
