how can i counter a loki crit build???

there is so much you have to learn from what little info you've provided.
If your getting bursted build armor/hp and bully him after he combos you.

The largest counter to loki is Wards and rotations. Loki has no real long term fight potential, he bursts and then outs. If you ward, and then have runes at max stacks, you can easily 1 stun him, and then he's basically dead. Stay alert, listen for his stealth, and just CC burst him. He need's his full rotation for a kill, but you can init with 1, where as he needs to ult to init. If you're feeling really cheeky, you can try to taunt out his ult with a spicy aegis, and ALL his fight potential isbasically gone. Punish him between those ults, and he'll be an easy pick, fall behind, and you don't have to worry.

If 1v1 ,Hou yi is the best choice (if he goes invisible you will see him if he's marked with hou's 2) then you stun him with your ricochet and rekt, the key to defeat loki is control , get gods with stuns and he's done, Arachne for example (still for 1 v1) but in teamfights only one control is enough for others to finish him,thats why loki always stays back and waits for someone to get low on health then he attacks with ult ,other tactic than that is suicide

Best advice I can give you is to play as Loki for a few games, focus on the his sounds when he goes invisible or activates his 3 etc. If you just want to be able to absorb more damage, buy some defensive items to increase protection, but once you know Loki's abilities and played a few as him, it becomes considerably easier. i mean theres really no way to counter him besides getting lucky with sanc and the loki just being bad.

it could get alot worse. Ive seen him one shot somone inside of fountain and get away

As fenrir? For a counter build, possibly go some physical protection if loki isnt really going for pen, but 9/10 lokis will build pen, crit or not, so building hp on him will work a lot better, you might not get bursted down as easily. Mail of renewal, bulwark of hope, and mantle of discord work great against him. Other than that it's pretty much covered for strategy.

i would know how to counter loki since i main him :P,

1. CC's, most loki players are not worried about using aegis or beads they would rather use those slots for better items to compliment their builds/playstyles so having a good cc will greatly improve your chances against a loki

2. Defense, it never hurts to build extra defense use one that gives 90 phy def. you should be set to survive a bit better against a loki without compromising your fenrir build too much

3. Awareness, if you fail to hear a loki using any of his abilites then you deserve to get whats coming to you :P

4. Teaming... the more people near you the better, if your by yourself or low on health that loki will be gunning for you, so having an extra teammate near you improves your odds of surviving and if you dont survive then at least your teammate will most likely kill that loki.
