Please, could you elaborate more on the loot and how it will function in the game? Will there be different loot tiers, e.g. as in WoW (green, blue, purple etc)?

Pylon: Rogue is completely different from the android version, with the android version being a more traditional ARPG and this version being a rogue-like / rogue-lite. Expect loot to work like it does in Binding of Isaac and not like it does in Diablo.

I'm dabbling tonight, and while it's fun, clearly it's not an ARPG- or mmorpg-style Loot Loot Loot type of game.

Within the roguelike genre limitations, it does at least seem to have a decent variety in unlockables.

Thanks for the screenshots; loot doesn't seem so bad as feared but on the other hand not so great as hoped for. Will still wait and watch a Let's Play to see if those items are so meaningful to change the direction of a game/playthrough.

Maybe later in the week I can do some sort of Steam game guide that lists those unlockables, and what each does.

Hovering mouse cursor over each provides a descriptive pop-up. So I'll probably have to take some notes or a lot of screenshots to get the information.

How do u unlock things in the unlock tab? xD

If you hover over any of the locked items in the unlock menu, it should tell you what the unlock requirement is.
