Does this game still have just 1 faction?
As asked in thread title.

1 Faction

Unfortunately yes, just one boring faction. The lore splits that faction internally into multiple sub-factions, but they are still all basically the same faction with different flavor text.

Honest question: Do we get than 3 or 4 unique factions with the next DLC?

I liked the original rationale of having just one faction: If you go on for long enough all existing factions would have been copying eachother's units anyway, reducing it to effectively a single faction.

I'm sure the dozens of players will be grateful for you doing Uber's job for them.

Uber doesn't have the time or resources to double the unit count. You know how long it took them to create the 21 units in Titans; how long do you think it would take them to make 100 more?

3 million dollars and 11 month for 21 units.
Probably 15 million $ and 55 month for another 105.
They could also just include this mod in their game. It is common practice now. Starbound and minecraft for example.

From the other side mod's developer did everything for free and didn't have all that financial support and made lots of units for a shorter time.

This mod doesn't really fit their lore and it contains gameplay outside of the direction that the game's designers would like to pursue.

Believe me, this frustrates me too.

How do you know they don't have the time or resources? Sounds more like you're just making excuses for them tbh. I'd like to point you to the indie section within the Steam store. Here you can find amazing projects that have been completed on a shoestring budget with a minimal team - their product has to be amazing to compete you see because they have no reputation and huge competition. If you're Uber and you know your captive audience, whom are wanting to relive their nostalgia gaming days, are going to just throw millions at you regardless, what incentive do they have to improve?

Yes you see, Stuart98, you are probably part of the problem. If you don't hold Uber accountable then you may spend a great deal more time "frustrated" with things. I personally have never given Uber a penny and thus have never been frustrated by them -- merely an amused bystander watching a train crash in slow motion.
