How about the ability to rebind the jump button? I'd prefer using Z over the spacebar.

One video made me download this. :)

Added "Key Rebinding" to our backlog. Thanks for your suggestion.

Would be nice to have a more detailed and branching level selection, because i'm not really sure what divides the worlds other than music and bosses. And sometimes it's tedious to scroll all the way threw the 75 levels to find the one you want to play.

Option to turn the music off so I can play my own music. I like the game soundtrack but I feel like it's gonna get old when replaying to get the not dying achievements, for example.

Yeah, that's a good one. I think a system like 1-1, 1-2, etc. would work, Also having the level number visually on-screen. Or even dividing the selection into a few rows rather than one row.

Just some random ideas, none of them necessary but could be fun:
- Hard mode option, where ink disappears over time.
- Choose ink colours?
- Multiplayer support (screen share) for races or co-operation
- If you do add a level designer, some ehanced features like pressure plates etc could be fun.
- Ghost of your last attempt, or maybe personal best.
- Negative ink projectiles that remove ink where they splash.
- Reverse gravity levels, because we hate ourselves.
- Hats. j/k. Maybe.

As I said, none are essential, the game is already great, but some of these may add to the experience!

Most of the ones you mentioned are already in the game (hidden) or have been planned hahaha. Hard mode where INK fades after 3 seconds is already in, it just has a little technical issue we need to fix before we set it live. Multiplayer arena is also in, but needs a few more modes and testing. Choosing INK color palettes was going to be a reward for collecting coins, but we didn't have time to fit it into our schedule. Negative INK was also one of our initial enemies, but it wasn't as fun as we thought. Ghosts might be a cool idea, so we'll consider it.

Thanks for all your suggestions!

It would be nice to have a different type of way of detecting the controller instead of Xinput. maybe like using steam's big picture mode to detect the controller?

All sounds good, still getting below 20fps at boss fights. Can you also look into the instant double jumping it does from time to time. PS love the game, its a +ve from me, but the issue with jumping can come off as unfair. Don't mind dying due to my own hands.

That is not a feature, but a bug. It is on the list in the "Known Bugs" pinned post. We will fix it as soon as we can.

I Emailed asking for a planned features post. I'm not dissapointed. Really looking forward to the speed run options myself. Gotten my times down to around 45 minutes but that feels so sloppy and I know I can do so much better....

Third post, heh. Just beat the game. Had a good time.

One thing that really came to mind was a control issue with wall jumping. I was thinking that unless you are pressing right or left INTO the wall, you ought to just fall straight down and do not wall jump away from it. Basically if you want to fall faster, you just stop pressing into the wall without having to press away from it.

When returning to the title screen, how about having the it appear instantly all subsequent times after the first?

Looking forward to seeing updates and thanks for the game.

The design for the wall jump seems intentional to me as that particular quirk is used to speed run in some of the levels where you need to jump between spiked ceilings and floors off of walls since you're allowed to free fall drop like a ninja and jump through the gaps without needing to slow down by tapping to hug the wall.

Volume sliders for music and sound effects seperately. Loving the game so far but I often play things like this with music in the background, and if i wanted to stream this having ingame sound changing would be really helpful.

what if there was an even more difficult mode than the one that ink dissapears over short time, like one that buffs enemies, hazards and bosses in some way. gotta admit aside from the rage i was impressed how precise and clever the puzzles with the homing circles were, would like to see a creative twist in the game.
