It's due to the Australian Government charging everyone a minimum fee to be able to sell their games here, it's the reason a ton of games aren't available for sale here, especially small indie titles. It sucks but not much we can do about it.

The best alternative is to look for it on keysites, the game isn't region locked and is pretty readily available on a few of them.
