Long time no see. I am Yi Yunseok, creator of YGGDRASIL STUDIO. I am writing down something about this project.

Dsicouraged Workers, the fifth story of Project DW, planned as a 7-episode series. It's been 10 years since I first planned the project, and so many things have happened. It is the first work I have released as an independent creator, so I will never forget the experience I got from this.

On September 16th, this small novel will be priced at $7.99, and next September 16th 2024, it will be $4.99.

By 2025, the 10th anniversary of launch, you will no longer see Discouraged Workers on all digital gaming platforms, including Steam. To be precise, on April 21st, the same day the project was started, Discouraged Workers will disappear from Steam.

I will explain why this project is being archived:



Contributing to open-source projects for 10 years has been very rewarding for me. In the process, I decided to make Project DW and all of my digital creations as open-source.

It's been 7 years since I released Discouraged Workers on Steam. This small project has affected many people than I expected, especially in Korea, communities exploited it as a means of crime and hatred rather than solving the problem.

On the one hand, some people attacked the project because they were afraid that their crimes would be discovered.

In addition, extreme PC lobbyists and feminists do not recognize that their malicious actions is a crime and are intoxicated with abnormal power.

Lastly, the collaboration between political forces and subversive forces has reached its peak, and the country is in chaos.


Still, Korea is not safe from the risks of mental illness, suicide, moral hazard, hatred, character murder sex crimes.

Also, I have long since given up hope for my country.

However, there are also people who are working to solve the problems.

To take a recent example, in April, the Korean government finalized the 5th suicide prevention basic plan, and the Korean Medical Association and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published 7 life guidelines for preventing and managing depression.
