Sandbox Mode Update

Sandbox mode is out now!

Sandbox mode is mainly for playing around and testing things out. It's not meant to replace the regular game mode. You can select the game mode when creating a new game.

Main features of sandbox mode:

Free unlimited building
No quests or research (everything is unlocked by default)
Noclip / Fly mode (Default key bind: "V")
New ore spawners exclusive to sandbox mode
New buildable deposit box exclusive to sandbox mode

New Flat Map

There's a new flat map exclusive to sandbox mode!

Ore Spawners

There's a new handheld Ore Spawner Tool, and a new buildable Ore Spawner Machine exclusive to sandbox mode!

Buildable Deposit box

In sandbox mode, you can build your own deposit areas

Version 0.2.1.5 released:

Added new Sandbox game mode
Added new Flat Map*
Added new Ore Spawner Tool*
Added new Ore Spawner Machine*
Added new Mobile Depositor*
Added new Noclip / Fly (Default key: "V")*
Added new "Delete" button in inventory*
Updated breakable crates to break when going in the selling bin, instead of selling right away

dev, we got a serious problem..

so i recently got the game and already have 165 hours, however, my facility runs off of one thing, BOXES, my issue(s)? we need a either roofed conveyor(id love that too) or a belt for only boxes too help their movement, i keep finding random boxes in every single conveyor belt also i aint got a clue where to post this...

Will chutes come back?

Until now, I’ve been able to use any, but now it seems they’ve been removed from the game. I’ve read that they apparently caused some issues, but will they be reworked and brought back?

Clear all buildings button

I think a way to massively erase conveyors and machines would be nice. Let's be honest, this game is about trial and error, and while yes, some people may want to take the time to deconstruct everything they've built each time they come up with a new idea, some of us are casual gamers looking for instant gratification. A "research" unlock item or simply something to buy in the store that completely wipes all built items and returns them to inventory (or to the elevator shaft in crates) would be amazing. I ...

Honestly the game is good. A solid 8/10 game. However, finishing the game feels more like a chore than finding ways to improve your automation. There will be times when you're just sitting around for 3 hours straights as you await for 10,000 Gold Plates to be made.

I don't hate the game. It is fun in the beginning However, especially with the later stages\ once you are set up, you are just sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting. I'm at the 2nd to the last of the tasks that are on so far. 1500 is a lot, I've been staring at my computer waiting forever. Maybe I'm not doing it right but if I add any more machines, I get a message saying there is everything has to slow down to keep FPS good, so I'm just waiting and not looking forward to the last task, with is 3000 and 5000 for some stuff. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but even if I'm not, there just isn't enough to really do in this game, while I wait and wait.

Well made game. Not my type much as it is hard to move around and needs too much work but if you love the genre, it is great. And it runs very well with no stutters at least on first hours.

Seems to be hit and miss, you buy a mould and it either appears or doesnt appear in your inventory

Steam Sale + Demo Update + Upcoming Sandbox Mode!

MineMogul has a 20% discount this week during the Steam Spring Sale!

We've also updated the Demo. It's now up to date with the latest full version of the game, and you can continue playing any (new) demo save files when upgrading to the full game. Previously, it was on a SUPER old version, and was missing basic things like rebindable keys.

Sandbox Mode

We started working on a new sandbox gamemode.

In this gamemode, everything is free and unlocked right away. There aren't any quests, it's mainly for playing around and testing things. We already had some of these tools for testing things during development, so we thought it'd be nice to give them to you, the players!

It includes a new flat map, a new tool, and new buildable objects exclusive to sandbox mode.

We'll begin testing this update on the experimental branch very soon now!

Next content update

After sandbox mode, we plan on starting the next major content update with new machines and resources :)
